I am off having some adventures around town and elsewhere. It's been so nice to get out of town explore some different places - I find is always gives me more perspective on life. This weekend took me to Utah for amazing wedding at the ski resort Snow Basin. We took the gondola up to 9,000 feet to watch the happy couple get married. Work is taking to Vegas this week but I was lucky enough to come a night early and catch some some sun and La Reve! The next few weeks are going to be busy with travel but I am excited for some new experiences.

Give me some khaki style, la di da, la di, da. I kind of look like I walking GAP ad, sigh, I know. Remember my last post were I said my eye for COLOR is all off? Here is an example of the usual weekend color explosion. I gotta get it all in at once. Anyways, who loves some color? Also, this a great example of some weekend khaki style. Khaki's are best these days in color and paired bright layering pieces - if I do say so myself.

Uniqlo Men's V-Neck
Uniqlo is finally coming to San Francisco; opening sometime this fall. Thank God, because it's usually one of my first stops whenever I get to New York. Not only do I love whole I am shopping in Japan land with soothing music theme but I am big fan of their t-shits. The Men's ones to be precise. The Men's V-Neck is about $5.90 and offers super cushy cotton that moisture wicking for the boys but prevents that nasty white t-shirt look for the girls (if you ask me). The shape and cut and just masculine enough to dress down pretty much the most feminine of outfits. See one in action on the blog here.

I think Monday might be become "GIF Mondays", what you think? I love it as a fun way to show off accessories and bits and pieces. This one is of my shoes from past couple weeks. What's your favorite pair? Are leopard pumps over? Are my penny loafers too masculine? These are questions I ask myself...

Summer in San Francisco is quickly coming a close and I am desperate to hold on to it. That means evenings spent sipping carefully crafted fresh cocktails and finding excuses to go lay by the pool as much as possible. My drink of choice is always a margarita; which, when made well I argue is pretty superior. One of my favorite quick and easy tricks for taking it up a notch, is adding fresh herbs to the mix. Thai Basil for its sweet and refreshing taste is my favorite for garnishing on a margarita.

You may have noticed a lot of black and white on this blog...it's not by choice because or that I think it will always make we look thinner and chic or something: it's because I have to. It gets hard to color between the lines on the weekdays and now I feel like my eye for color is totally off. But c'est la via I guess we all have to work. Anyways, because of my colorless dress code when I find a new outfit I like, I get excited, tres excited. This was a recent work outfit black and white combination - do I look tres chic?

The Herb Bouquet
Sunday night is water the plants night which brings me out to my fire escape with my thriving herb boxes. They produce so much oregano, mint, verbena, basil, and thyme (just to name a few) that I can't possibly keep up. So every Sunday night I take a break and cut some of my herbs and make one of my favorite things: an herb bouquet. The herbs all together smell so sweet and fragrant you will love them in your home. I love flowers just like the next girl but sometimes it nice to give herbs a chance to shine!
